ABOUT US
York Archers Society home is at the Hopgrove Sports Ground on the Malton Road, just 1 mile from the centre
of the city of York. York Archers are one of the founder members of the Hopgrove Playing Fields Association.
 Below  can be seen our  custom built Club House and storage area.

The site gives us exclusive use of a shooting field that is long enough to shoot Clout distances (180 yards) plus unrestricted access to our shooting ranges in a safe and controlled area.
Times of Shooting   
We meet every Wednesday and Friday at 5.00pm and Sunday at 1.00pm (weather permitting) during the summer. New agreed club shooting day Saturday 12 - dusk. Winter Shooting is Sunday at 12 noon until the daylight (or lack of it) and the cold sends us scurrying for cover. (......4 ish). New agreed club shooting day Saturday 12 - dusk.Usually into the nearest pub! Indoor shooting is on a Friday eve at Askham Bryan College 7- 9.00pm.
As well as being a vibrant and expanding modern Society, York Archers has a long and distinguished history as as one of the oldest clubs still in existence in the UK.  Further information from info@yorkarchers.co.uk
