Notes
This is a tournament predominantly for senior archers. Juniors and 50+ archers who want to be eligible for the NCAS trophies should enter the senior round. Those who would prefer to shoot the shorter rounds are free to do so, but will not be able to claim NCAS trophies (with the exception of the 1st score medals for 50+ archers).
Medals will be presented depending on the number of entries.
Awards are for the double round only.
NCAS trophies will be presented at the prize giving ceremony, but then taken back and retained for safe storage. Winners will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with the trophy.
For prize giving, gents trophies may be won by those in the open category, and ladies trophies by those in the female category.
Only archers who are associate members of NCAS can win the NCAS prizes. This includes all members of archery clubs who fall under NCAS.
A novice is an archer who has not yet completed their first year of affiliation.
Veterans are ladies over 60 and gents over 65.
A timing system will be used both days under method 2
All distances will be shot as 6 arrows in 4 minutes, in two details.
Rose awards may be claimed from this shoot.
York Archers Society will not be held responsible for any damage caused to arrows from target bosses, including any arrows that pass through.
Entries from archers shooting both days of the event will have priority for places. Any online payments made for single days that do not make the target list will be refunded before the event.
There will be no refunds given for archers who withdraw from the event after entries close.
Archery GB dress regulations will apply as shown in Archery GB rule 307
An automatic email confirming payment will be made immediately upon online payment, a confirmation of target allocation email will be sent out manually within a week of the event.
Record status shoots are liable for drugs testing and any competitor approached to give a sample must comply. Refusal will be treated as a positive result.
Closing date for any entries is Friday the 17th of July
Upon adding this ticket to your basket a form will pop up and require filling in so that we can allocate target spaces.
As it stands the number of tickets available is set and as usual we are prioritising those that wish to shoot both days. Single day tickets will be made available closer to the event if available. Please email us if you have any trouble (tournaments@yorkarchers.co.uk).
Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis based on the timestamp of purchase. In the highly unlikely event that our maths is incorrect (famous last words), and we sell too many spaces, then a full refund will be made to anybody that does not get a space.
If you wish to camp overnight with us, please add the nights you’d like to stay to your basket before paying. The cost is £5 per plot per night. Please note that we cannot guarantee the availability of any facilities during your stay.
The gates will be open from 6pm on each night. Please email tournaments@yorkarchers.co.uk if you have any additional requirements.
