York Archers Society invite you to join us for our spring clout competition. It is a Tassel Award status double one-way GNAS clout round.
This event will be held at Hopgrove Playing Fields (Malton Road, York, YO32 9TE) on Saturday 13th April, with sighters at 10.30am. The shoot will take place on the dedicated archery field, just outside the York Archers Society clubhouse. Hot food will be available for a small fee on the day.

The distances shot by each archer will be:
Senior Gents: 180 yds
Senior Ladies: 140 yds
Under 21 (year of birth 2004 to 2006): 140 yds
Under 18 (year of birth 2007 to 2008): 120 yds
Under 16 (year of birth 2009 to 2010): 100 yds
Under 14 (year of birth 2011 or later): 80 yds
Prizes will be available in each gender and distance category, with an additional prize for ‘best clout’ over the whole competition.
Please note:
Due to the danger of inexperienced archers overshooting the field, we require all competitors to have received prior instruction in clout archery. Please get in touch if you would like to take part but have not yet had any experience shooting clout archery.
There will be no refunds given for archers who withdraw from the event.
Closing date for any entries is Friday 5th of April.
York Archers Society will not be held responsible for any damage caused to arrows during the event.
Upon adding this ticket to your basket a form will pop up and require filling in so that we can allocate spaces. After filling in the form, you can pay by heading to the cart at the top of the page.
Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis based on the timestamp of purchase. If the event is oversold, a full refund will be made to anybody that does not get a space.

If you wish to camp overnight with us, please add the nights you’d like to stay to your basket before paying. The cost is £4 per plot per night. Please note that we cannot guarantee the availability of any facilities during your stay.
